Guillaume de Paris

Guillaume de Paris, also known as Brother William of Paris, was a Dominican priest and theologian. He was an officer of the Inquisition, with the role of investigating offences against the Roman Catholic Church. He served as the formal prosecutor for the trial of the Templars, interviewing many key members of the brotherhood, such as the grand master Jacques (James) de Molay.1
